Beer Style: American Pale Ale

Description:

All-grain ale recipe made from rice malt.

Ingredients:

  • 18lb Pale rice malt
  • 3lb Biscuit rice malt
  • 2lb Crystal rice malt
  • 2oz Cascade boiling hops
  • 1/3oz Simcoe mid boil hops
  • 1/3oz Citra late addition hops
  • Yeast: Dry ale yeast

Additional Instructions

Primary Ferment: 7 days at 68 degrees
Secondary Ferment: 7 days at 68 degrees

Procedure:

Step mash or decoction at 150 for 60-90 min or longer depending on conversion.

Finished beer transferred through Hop Rocket with 1/2oz Cascade and 1/2oz Citra going to brite keg (could be dry hopped in secondary)
