Beer Style: American Dark Lager

Description:

All-grain Dark Lager made from rice malt

Ingredients:

  • 16lb Pale rice malt
  • 3lb Biscuit rice malt
  • 1lb James’ Brown rice malt
  • 1lb Dark rice malt
  • 1lb Gas Hog rice malt
  • 1oz Cascade boiling hops
  • 1oz Spalt Select & 1/2oz Hallertau mid to late boil hops
  • Yeast: Dry lager

Additional Instructions

Primary Ferment: 7 days at 68 degrees
Secondary Ferment: 7 days at 68 degrees

Procedure:

Mash at 150 for 60-90 min or longer depending on conversion.

Finished beer transferred through Hop Rocket with ½ oz Hallertau, ½ oz Spalt select (could be dry hopped in secondary)
